Types of roughage in the food and its functions:
1.     Soluble roughage: helps in the blood circulation.

2.    Insoluble roughage: prevents constipation, making stool soft and easy to pass out of the body.

Red Capsicum:

Plenty of Carotenoids (pigments which protect our cells and tissues from harmful effects of air, light and other harmful pigments) are present in red capsicum.





Dark Chocolate:
Dark chocolates contain plenty of anti-oxidants, fatty acids, fibres, carbohydrates, minerals like; iron, copper, magnesium, manganese, potassium, phosphorus, zinc, selenium etc. Consumption of dark chocolates can keep our skin skin soft, smooth and attractive and beautiful.




Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil contains Lauric acid which is an anti-bacterial and anti-viral material. Lauric acid fights against viruses and bacteria and protects our skin from infections. Besides this coconut oil is also contains fatty acids and vitamin E. It keeps our skin soft and wrinkle free. So, using coconut oil may be helpful for our skin.



Green Tea:
Green Tea contains antioxidant substances in large quantity. It also contains amino acid L-thiyanaina which is beneficial for the skin. Consumption of 3 cups of Green Tea may keep us comfortable, tense free, relaxed and active.








Spinach:
Spinach has antioxidants. Spinach is good for the skin and body because it contains iron, chlorophyll, vitamin E, magnesium, vitamin A, vitamin C, fibre, protein etc. For good skin add spinach in your food.



Papaya:
Papaya is a delicious fruit. Papaya contains different vitamins which are must for good and attractive skin. Papaya is also rich in antioxidant, vitamin E, vitamin C and beta-carotene which reduces irritation of acne and keeps the skin from the harmful effects of the sun. It also keeps our liver healthy.
